Best Dad in the World Treats his Special Son to a Skate Park [Video]

This is such a heart-warming story of a dad and his son, who has cerebral palsy. It took place in Sacramento, California, and dad, Jared Edmunds helps his son, 8-year old Atticus, enjoy a skate park.

What a great day Jared is. The NY Daily News reported the story, and said that Jared was nervous at first. But after it was clear that Atticus loved the ride so much, the two have continued together.

Jared said it gives Atticus a chance to do things that other kids do instead of just sitting on the sidelines and watching. And, the fact that he's out there changes the way people see him. Instead of being a kid in a wheelchair, more than anything, he’s considered a skater by those he meets. How sweet and loving is that.
