Bell’s Brewery Tour Named Second Best In The U.S.
Have you toured Bell's Brewing yet? If that was a “no”, you might want to make a trip to Kzoo sooner than later.
Bell's Brewing was just named the second best brewery tour in the USA TODAY 10 Best Brewery Tours in the U.S.
So 10 breweries were nominated, obviously by the title, but the public voted in the USA TODAY reader poll which happened in March and Bell's landed in the top 2. They were beat out by New Belgium Brewing in Fort Collins, CO.
Why are the Bells tours so great? As Shelly Claflin, Bell’s Tour Manager said in the press release,
Our tours blend an extensive knowledge of Bell’s and craft beer with incredible storytelling. We couldn’t be prouder of this recognition, especially when it comes from our fans. There are still so many who have not made the trek from Kalamazoo to see this incredible space. As the 7th largest craft brewery in the U.S., we are very fortunate to have the best brewery tour in the Midwest, right here in our own back yard.”
Brewery tours at Bell's are free and all ages. Wednesday through Sunday you can take the tour at the Comstock location and on weekends you can tour the original downtown Kalamazoo location. And yes, if you’re at least 21, they offer free samples.
