These first level rules and regulations are the initial groundwork for both recreational and medical marijuana businesses to open up shop inside Grand Rapids city limits.

The is still lots of work for the city to do regarding the licensing of the recreational side of the marijuana industry.

The state of Michigan will officially begin accepting applications for recreational marijuana businesses starting on November 1st.
