So I guess you can't really go into the Grand Rapids Downtown Market just yet, since the building isn't even done.  But the market continues to add retailers every week.

Just today, WOOD-TV announced that Grocer's Daughter Chocolatier will be one of the tenants at the Downtown Market.  Their chocolate had been available in GR exclusively at Global Infusion in East Hills, but now will be sold at the market.

From the Grocer's Daughter website:

We are a small, family-owned business, with our main shop perched on a dune in the quaint village of Empire, on the picturesque shores of Lake Michigan. Our small staff is part of our family and we are committed to providing liveable wages and a fun, supportive work environment. We also value our relationships with our producer partners and each year we travel to visit our partner farmers to deepen our relationships with them.

Our love for rich, dark chocolate and a passion for local foods inspires our truffle recipes and other chocolate creations. We use fruits, edible flowers and herbs from our garden and we source larger quantities of ingredients from local farms. On occasion we use wild-harvested foods from the rich soils and pristine forests of our Northern Michigan home. Travels and studies of chocolate through Latin American and Europe also helped give birth to this production.
