It began 45 years ago and is still going strong. The Fallasburg Fall Festival for the Arts is almost here.

LowellArts! is held annually in Fallasburg Park, approximately 20 miles east of Grand Rapids.  Set amid the trees of this historical site, the event features 100 unique fine art and fine crafts booths, food booths, and a children’s craft area.

The winner of ArtPrize 2010 will be among the more than 95 artists taking part in Fallasburg Fall Festival for the Arts.

Artists from as far away as Florida will be showcasing their skills during the festival, which runs September 14 and 15. And, you'll enjoy live music while shopping for new art.

Timeless craft demonstrations take place inside a large pavilion while musicians perform on an outdoor stage both days. Annual attendance estimates are 20-30,000. Admission is free.

Voted #39 of the festivals nationwide by 2012 readers of Sunshine Artists magazine, Fallasburg Festival has been called, “a unique event that develops the potential of its' extraordinary historical setting,” by www.artfaircalendar.com.
