Muskegon hosted the 2012 Miss Michigan Pageant over the weekend.  24-year-old Angela Venditti (Miss St. Clair Shores) was named the winner.

West Michigan was well represented at the pageant.  20-year-old Alexa Allor (Miss Grand Valley State University) finished as fourth runner-up.

2012 Miss Michigan Angela Venditti ran on the platform, "Above The Influence:  Keeping Kids Drug Free".  She won the swimsuit competition and performed a tap dance in the talent portion of the pageant.

Venditti said the first thing she wants to do as Miss Michigan is "eat some McDonald's".  I'm guessing she's not going to order a salad.
