Many of us grew up roller skating with friends. As adults, the last thing we want to do is to roller skate with young kids whizzing by us. Grab your skates! Now we have an option.

Tarry Hall Roller Skating Rink in Grandville was recently purchased by two couples who met at the rink, skate together on the speed team, and have a passion for the place and for roller skating. The new owners are BJ & Jenny Steketee along with Dave & Heather Niemeyer

As parents and adults are itching to get back out and socializing, the new owners of Tarry Hall has decided to have an "Adults Only" evening of roller skating.

Adult night will be every Thursday from 8:30 pm-11 pm. And don't even think of trying to sneak in if you are underage...IDs will be checked at the door! Cost is $8, and rental of roller skates adds $1 or $2 for the rental of rollerblades.

There are some special requirements to keep everyone safe and healthy: masks are required and the crowd size is limited to 250 people inside the 17,000 square foot facility.

For those of all ages, Tarry Hall has Friday, Saturday and Sunday hours for you to roller skate.

Tarry Hall Roller Rink opened in 1959. Along with hours for regular roller skating, they would love to host your next family gathering, birthday party, or even a wedding reception.

They also offer skating lessons. I might look a little funny as the only adult in a room filled with children!

For more information, check out the Tarry Hall Roller Skating Rink website or their Facebook page.

Tarry Hall is located at 3330 Fairlanes Avenue in Grandville.
