The 44th Amway River Bank Run is set to take place this weekend. It is the largest 25k run in the country. The event was scheduled to take place on May 8 but organizers picked a new date in order to have a more "normal' event. This year's event will end dramatically for one couple.

The press release read,

"After careful consideration and consult with health professionals, including our health partner Spectrum Health, Amway River Bank Run organizers have decided to reschedule the 2020 race from May 9 to October 23."

If you have ever run the Amway River Bank Race, you might have noticed the "Tutu Man." He's normally dressed in a brightly colored tutu and carrying an American flag.

The tutu is a reminder to his fellow runners not to take it all so seriously and a reminder to himself of how far he’s come. He is 11 years sober this year and will be celebrating the end of the race in a very special way.

Rob Woldhuis says that running helped him stay on the correct path and it also helped him meet his love, Heidi.

When the race is over this weekend, Rob & Heidi will tie the knot at the finish line. Rob will still be wearing his infamous Tutu. No word on whether Heidi will be running in a wedding dress.
