American Burgers Hit Japan

The McDonald's Japan "Big America 2" campaign kicked off last week.  Four new hamburgers are being introduced to give the Japanese people a taste of The States.

The gut-busting burgers are named The Texas 2, The Idaho, The Miami, and The Manhattan, and they all exceed the kind of caloric intake that Japanese people are used to, but the tasty creations are being welcomed with open arms.

As for us Yanks, we're out of luck. These yummy looking beauties are for Japanese mouths only, and I couldn't find any hint of plans to release them here.

This is actually the second time that McDonald's has recently unleashed American themed burgers on the Japanese. The last go-round featured burgers named after California, Hawaii, and New York, as well as another Texas burger.
