A ‘Bone Chilling’ & Snowy Forecast For Grand Rapids This Winter
It looks like West Michigan may be in store for a 'Bone Chilling Winter' with 'Loads of Snow' according to the Old Farmers Almanac's 2022-2023 Winter Weather prediction.
Will West Michigan have a harsh winter in 2022-2023?
Last month we let you know that the Old Farmer's Almanac predicted an early frost for West Michigan & Grand Rapids.
According to the almanac, the first frost is expected in early October. But now the Old Farmer's Almanac has released their 2022-2023 Winter Weather forecast, and West Michigan might be in the bullseye for Winter Weather.
What will the Winter Weather be like in Grand Rapids for 2022-2023?
In what is not a huge surprise for anyone who's lived in West Michigan, it looks like the cold and snow are on the way once again.
According to the almanac's 'Tale of Two Winters' forecast, it looks like West Michigan will face a cold and snowy winter.
The almanac calls for half of the country to feel winter's wrath:

Will Grand Rapids have a cold winter in 2022-2023?
Grand Rapids and West Michigan are in the almanac's 'Lower Lakes' region. This winter, the region is predicted to have colder temperatures starting earlier in the winter and more snow than usual.
Winter will be colder than normal, with the coldest temperatures in early December and late January to mid-February. Both precipitation and snowfall will be above normal. The snowiest periods will be in late November to early December and early to mid-January.
So, if the Old Farmer's Almanac is to be believed, get ready to bundle up and shovel this year.
