Do you think the way "Idol" eliminates performers is flawed.  I do.  A lot of people do.

Following Pia Toscano's surprising elimination last week, "Idol" producer Nigel Lythgoe suggested having the viewers' votes determine the bottom three and having the judges decide who goes home.  Three-quarters of the respondents in an ongoing AccessHollywood.com poll would welcome the change, and think it would keep the best vocalists in the competition longer.  In addition, 83-percent feel America "got it wrong" by voting out Pia.  However, two other AccessHollywood.com polls indicate Pia's fan base might not be that strong.  Only 36-percent say they will buy her album.  And 75-percent feel Casey Abrams, who was spared elimination a few weeks, was "more deserving" of the judges' "save" than Pia.
