Grand Rapids Police are needing help finding a man who robbed the Fifth Third Bank location at 700 Bridge St. NW.  According to WOOD TV8, the robbery happened just after 3 pm this afternoon (Monday).

GRPD says the man walked into the westside bank branch, got an undisclosed sum of money, and then took off on foot. They're not sure if he ended up getting into a vehicle nearby or not.

Grand Rapids Police told WOOD TV8 the robber looked to be around 45 years old and was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and a black mask when he robbed the 5/3rd location.  They also told the news outlet that no one was injured during the robbery.

WZZM says the FBI has also been contacted and is getting involved with the continuing investigation.  They are asking the public if you have any information to please contact GRPD at 616-456-3380 or you can let SILENT OBSERVER know anonymously through their website or by calling 616-774-2345.
