Taste of Muskegon is a much-looked forward to event in West Michigan because it celebrates something everyone loves: FOOD.. and lots of it!

Normally it takes place in June, but early this year festival organizers decided to move it to the fall due to uncertainty with COVID restrictions. It's crazy to think it's already fall time but lucky for us that means Taste of Muskegon will be back on Friday, September 24th from 4:30p-10p and Saturday the 25th from 11a-9p. It will be held at Hackley Park in Downtown Muskegon.

30 restaurants and food trucks will be a part of this year's event highlighting what they bring to the table (pun intended). The different businesses will be adding a fall flair to their dishes as well so think pumpkin spice and butternut squash.

Winners from 2020 will be making a return such as Mylan's Waterfront Grill who won "best taste award," Corine's Cakes & Catering took the "people's favorite award," and Bone Ends won the "best dessert award." Some other favorites include Hamburger Mikey, Uncle Wayne's BBQ and Wonderland Distilling who happen to be in the running for best new craft distillery in the U.S. in a USA Today poll.

Sure food will be the highlight of the event but you can't have food without good drinks. Attendees will be able to pop, beer, wine, and cocktails. And for those who really like to party can get a tequila flight. Live music from local bands will accompany the festivities.

Here's the full list of participants and what food items will be on the menu. Taste tickets will be $1 per ticket.

The most important thing to remember for Taste of Muskegon is to come hungry!
