20 West Michigan high school marching bands gathered at Grandville High School on Saturday for the 2013 Scholastic Marching Band Invitational.

Bands were divided into multiple classes, then awards were given out in those classes.

Awards included:  best music, best marching, best color guard, and best percussion.

Performances started at 9:00am.  Awards were given at 4:00pm.  Each marching band was given 15 minutes to perform.

  • Lee High School
  • Whitehall High School
  • West Catholic High School
  • Catholic Central High School
  • Allendale High School
  • Kelloggsville High School
  • Godwin Heights High School
  • Corunna High School
  • Grant High School
  • Wayland High School
  • Spring Lake High School
  • Comstock Park High School
  • Vicksburg High School
  • Portage Northern HS
  • Wyoming High School
  • Portage Central HS
  • Zeeland High School

Portage Central High School had the highest overall score across all classes.
