I love dogs.  They are such a pal.  Never judgmental, except regarding another dog, of course.

But, you have to really love this dog, an 8-year-old hairless Chinese Crested named Mugly,  crowned the World’s Ugliest Dog.

And, get this, it's not Mugly's first win.  Back in 2005 this repulsive pooch won Britain’s Ugliest Dog contest as a pup.  And, over the weekend, the fur-less wonder took the title at the 24th annual World’s Ugliest Dog contest at the Sonoma-Marin Fair in Petaluma, California.

There were 29 contenders and Mugly won a $1,000 cash prize, a VIP stay at the Sheridan Petaluma and a year’s supply of dog food. Both dog and owner were thrilled with the victory.

Just keep the bones coming and Mugly will, I'm sure, gladly enter all the "Ugly Dog" contests.
