Because that's the way the media makes it appear!

Kudos to model Crystal Renn for addressing an issue that not only affects models but; ultimately, affects little boys and little girls who grow up to be men and women.  The focus on women's eating is a breeding ground for eating disorders.  It sets them up for unrealistic expectations.  I know of a little 8 year old girl who is physically more developed than her classmates.  The abuse she suffers from just being perfectly normal is incomprehensible.  But even she looks through magazines and is talking to her mom about plastic surgery.  Can you believe that!  She's 8 years old.  Her mom is stable.  Her father is stable.  They do lots of family things together YET her school mates, the real ones that are messed up, are messing with her head.  What is the answer to all of this?  I wish I knew.  In the modeling industry Size 10 is considered Plus Size.  What is wrong with this picture.  Crystal Renn looks just as beautiful as a Plus Size model as she does at the "so called" average size.  Check this out...
