What Is Taking So Long To Rebuild 9/11 New York

If you have the t.v., radio, internet on or open today, you can’t go too far without seeing some kind of 9/11 retrospective. Sunday, several television networks will provide wall-to-wall coverage. Our WTRV FM.COM website will have several stories. I’ve written a couple that will appear tomorrow, including a story about my time in New York one month after the attacks of Sept 11.

With all that happened ten years ago, what happened to the effort to rebuild? I remember in the days following the downing of the buildings in New York, President Bush said we will rebuild. It has been ten years and still nothing. World Trade Center’s original towers were completed in just five and a half years.

What is taking so long?
