These Pretzels Are Making Me Thirsty

By: Getty Images

I really enjoyed Becky Afendoulis’ visit on WTRV yesterday morning. With Andy away on vacation, several friends of the radio station stop by to help out. Becky always brings in interesting dynamic to our show. Today, she was nervous about performing her own television voice-over on channel 8.

People sometimes don’t understand there is a challenge in reading for ON-AIR. I do it for a living, so it comes easier to me than it does for her. As we rehearsed, it reminded me of one of the great Seinfeld episodes where Kramer landed a one-sentence speaking role in a Woody Allen Movie.

Look for Becky’s commercial on channel 8, promoting the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church Greek Festival.
