The Best Of The Best.

Great Story in the Detroit newspaper today regarding the Detroit Red Wings.  Of the four Stanley Cup winning teams of the past 20 years, which one was the best.   Several players were asked to choose between the 97 team that beat Philadelphia or the 02 team that defeated Carolina.   I could make a strong case for both teams.  Most sentimental win had to be the win over Philadelphia.  Like it was yesterday, I remember thinking how unbelievable it was to hear Detroit Red Wings and Stanley Cup champions in the same sentence as the final moments of game four ticked away.
