The UICA’s national-award-winning ArtWorks Youth Program unveiled a new mural at 106 South Division! Led by local artist Erwin Erkfitz, twelve of the ArtWorks student participants from area schools designed and painted the mural on a wall at the Avenue for the Arts. Staff at the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts were to announce today their new building at 2 W. Fulton St. officially will open with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 25, with a free community open house on July 31.
