Tanger Outlets Grand Rapids officially opens on Friday, July 31, but many got an early look at the new mall Thursday night at a pre-opening event.

Tanger Outlets will open in Byron Center on July 31. The grand opening weekend will include fireworks, celebrity appearances, prizes and more.

VoiceGR is an annual survey conducted by researchers at Grand Valley State University’s Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy. Construction of the Tanger Outlet Mall in Byron Township is ahead of schedule. WZZM-13 reports the mall is now scheduled to open on July 31. The mall was originally expected to open this fall.

Tanger Outlets has announced the opening of its new location in West Michigan. According to its website, the new outlet center will have its grand opening in July 2015. An exact date hasn’t been announced.
