This is a real "blast from the past" story, but Dickie Moore, the former child actor best known for the Our Gang comedies in the '30s, has died. He was 89.

Moore starred in the Little Rascals along with Spanky and Stymie during 1932. I thought it would be fun if I showed you a clip from one of the beloved comedy shorts back in the day.

Dickie Moore actually had a fine Hollywood career. He went on to star in such movies as Oliver Twist, Sergeant York, The Life of Louis Pasteur and Heaven Can Wait. He is also known for giving Shirley Temple her first onscreen kiss, in the 1942 film Miss Annie Rooney.

He is survived by his wife, actress Jane Powell.
