Michigan QB John O’Korn’s Sideline Stumble Still An Unsolved Mystery [Video]

I don’t know if you saw this play in the Michigan-Michigan State game Saturday night, but it was kind of strange.

Late in the game, Michigan quarterback John O’Kane ran out of bounds to stop the clock, when he was suddenly yanked downwards.

But by whom? It doesn’t appeared he was pushed or pulled down, and it seemed too quick to be a soccer-type ‘flop’. What the hell happened?

Me and my friends kept rewinding this over and over trying to figure it out.

Sports humor site Deadpsin thought The Force may have been in play.

While SB Nation offers these humorous examples of what may have pulled O’Korn to the wet turf.

And Sports Illustrated thinks O’Korn should be nominated for an Oscar.

Whatever the reason, the officials saw enough to flag the Spartans for a personal foul, which could have been costly if the Wolverines had an offense.
