Who doesn't like Pizza. Pizza for lunch, pizza for dinner, even a breakfast pizza. Now of course some are better than others and we all probably have our favorites. Pizza is for everyone.

One can always find a list of the best local pizza, obviously a very  subjective list. But is there a worst list? Worst Pizza to avoid?

Funny you should ask. Yes there is.

A group at 24/7 WallSt created a list of the 5 Pizza Chains to Avoid, and low and behold two iconic Michigan Pizza chains made the dreaded list.

24/7 WallSt said the list was compiled from consumer reviews and comments. And they consulted pizza reviews on five different food blogs and websites.

So, who landed at the top, or should I say, bottom, so to speak?

Before I get there, neither one hit the very bottom. That dubious honor went to Chuck E. Cheese.

Their pizza was rated as the absolute worst, and not just in Michigan but in the whole of  America!

So, this totally unscientific worst pizza in America survey came up with the worst five and the #5 spot honor went to.....Domino's Pizza.

Yes, the Ann Arbor-based Domino's, who by the way have been around since 1960.

And, drum roll please, coming in at the #3 spot of worst pizza in America.....Little Caesars!

Little Caesars was founded in Garden City, Michigan in 1959, by Mike Ilitch and Marian Ilitch.

So, what did the judges think was wrong with Domino's and Little Caesars? Basically they said a lack of consistent quality, and low-quality toppings.

Domino's fought for years their image of a terrible pizza, a fact that they acknowledged a few years back.

Little Caesars has said that since they are the home of "Hot-N-Ready" we should temper our expectations a bit, and that their product is based on speed and not "exquisite taste!"

Are These Two Michigan Pizza Chains Really That Bad?

Seriously, we all have a different taste pallet and what may be someone's favorite pizza may be garbage to another.

I know that I've had pizza from both Domino's and Little Caesars many times throughout my life, and I've always thought they were great.

Pizza is pizza - how can you really go wrong?

So, enjoy whatever you like,  and, may I have a little more peperoni on mine, please!
