It's been a slow start for some bow hunters. The Michigan DNR explains that acorns and corn are to blame.

It's been a good year for acorns in Michigan. Deer love to eat acorns, which means that hunters need to go where the acorns are to find deer.

Another problem this year is that there is still a lot of corn standing in fields around Michigan. The corn creates another obstacle for hunters.
