To help celebrate Black History Month the Grand Rapids Public Library downtown is hosting a number of events.

Yes, children can learn about Black History in school but who doesn't learn better when you can bring it all to life!  That's what the Grand Rapids Public Library is trying to do.  It gives the kids, and really families a chance to learn together.

Some of the things you can enjoy are the Dunuya Drum & Dance, living history, food samples from a variety of restaurants, entertainment, crafts and hands on activities for the kids.

The 7th annual Taste of Soul Sunday will take place on February 19 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
