Live Longer, Watch Less TV
Watch tv less and live longer. Did you hear us talking about it on WTRV this morning?
A study finds watching six hours a day could take almost five years off the viewer's life expectancy.
Researchers calculated that watching an hour of television cuts 22 minutes from a person's life expectancy. In comparison, scientists have found that the average loss of life span connected with smoking a cigarette comes out to eleven minutes. Other studies have shown that lifelong smoking cuts more than four years from life expectancy.
