Kindel Furniture Factory Fire May Have Destroyed Historically Rich Photo’s And Memoribilia

There is a lot of concern over the memoribilia that may have been lost due to the fire.

You know there are some things that you just can't replace.  Recently we have watched on the news as tornados and flood waters in the southern states washed away memories and history.  Well, yesterday we had a little taste of it right here in Grand Rapids, when the Kindel Furniture Factory began to burn and the fire continued to spread for hours.  It's just so sad to see a beautiful historical building that has withstood the hands of time for so long to be changed so drastically.  The structual damage can be rebuilt.  The history contained within it cannot.
