It's Wet Nose Wednesday on "Mornings with Andy" and that means I have a wonderful, adoptable, pet in our studios.

This week, Carlita and Jen from the Humane Society of West Michigan brought "Extra" in.

Extra is a two year-old cat, given up by his previous owners, and needs a good, loving home.  He got the name Extra because he has an extra toe.

As always, you may contact the Humane Society of West Michigan online at www.hswestmi.org or by calling 616-453-8900.

Carlita and Jen also talked about "Furry Friday Films."  If your kids are animal-loving, pizza eating, movie-watching kids, then this is for them.

Every 3rd Friday, beginning May 18th, for four hours, 5:30 to 9:30 pm, you can drop your kids off at the Humane Society for loads of fun, pizza, and movies!  That give Mom and Dad a date night!

It's open to kids K thru 5th grade and only costs $25, with a $10 sibling discount.

PJ's are welcome, but not personal pets.  The Humane Society supplies those!

Want to sign up?  Just contact Jen Self-Aulgur, Humane Education Coordinator at 616-791-8066 or by emailing Jen at  jaulgur@hswestmi.org.
