Ah, technology. With the advances over the years, it's pretty hard to stay anonymous.

Take, for instance, this pair of apparent iPad thieves in suburban Houston.

Last week, a guy in River Oaks, Texas, went outside in the morning to find his truck had been broken into and his backpack, containing his iPad, had been stolen. While he had a feature activated on the iPad that allows him to track it, but when he attempted to, it was offline.

A few days later, he was going through pictures on his cell phone when he noticed a bunch of selfies popping up of people he didn't recognize, KPRC-TV reported.

He was able to figure out his stolen iPad had been connected to wi-fi at a nearby Burger King, causing it to synch with the cloud and making the photos available on his phone, KPRC-TV reported.

Then, late Friday night, a video titled "Burger King Ballin" was uploaded to YouTube, showing the same two people from the selfies. In the video, they were shown with stacks of $100 bills.

So, these guys either stole the iPad and were taking pictures and videos with it -- or they at least got the stolen iPad from someone. Either way, bad move!
