Many a standup comedy routine has revolved around flying. Well, the airline industry is showing it also has a sense of humor.Since I'll be leaving for Hawaii next Wednesday with 40 of our River listeners, we'll be hearing many versions of safety announcements, so I hope we get some like this.

It's the flight attendant with Southwest Airlines going over the safety announcements before a flight. All the plane needs a two-drink minimum and a brick wall behind her and you'd think she was cracking jokes at the Ha Ha Hole. She's basically the live stage version of this classic.

To her credit, the passengers eat up her material with more fervor than the little bag of nuts they may get. Hopefully, the flight went just as smoothly. This woman is so good that her next flight may be to Los Angeles to appear on 'Ellen.'
