There has been so much excitement around the Grand Rapids Public Museum since the Discovery of King Tut exhibit arrived. Visitors from all over Michigan and the United States have visited and continue to visit the exhibt featuring more than 1,000 scientifically produced recreations hand-crafted by Egyptian artisans, that recreates the awe and marvel of the moment of discovery. Visitors enter an overwhelming treasure trove to have an unbelievable glimpse into the greatest archeological discovery of the 20th century: Tutankhamun’s tomb.

Through a partnership with Semmel Concerts GmbH ("Semmel"), Premier Exhibitions, Inc. has brought the exhibition to North America, making its third stop on its U.S. tour in Grand Rapids at the GRPM. This exhibition uniquely allows the public to enjoy the magnificent splendor of these priceless Egyptian treasures without ever harming the fragile, sensitive originals – many of which are no longer permitted to tour outside of Egypt.
