Chrysanthemums & More at the Meijer Gardens

If you love Chrysanthemum's as so many do, the Meijer Gardens is your place beginning this Friday.

Enjoy a celebration of the chrysanthemum and fall plantings at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park’s Chrysanthemum’s & More! exhibition, the largest of its kind in Michigan.

This is a celebration of the chrysanthemum and fall plantings at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park. Central to the exhibition in the extensive chrysanthemum display showcasing thousands of flowering plants in both interior and exterior locations-the largest of its kind in Michigan.

The center point of the exhibition is the Grace Jarecki Seasonal Display Greenhouse. Specialty chrysanthemums are featured in the Victorian Garden Parlor and the Lena Meijer Tropical Conservatory. Each week, Horticulture staff and local florists create arrangements featuring the chrysanthemum specifically for Meijer Gardens on display in the Gunberg Corridor.

Outdoors, noteworthy plantings are featured at the temporary entrance, Michigan's Farm Garden, Lena Meijer Children's Garden, Volunteer Tribute Garden and Medallion Garden.

And, don't forget that Mum Day, October 20 will provide members and guests an opportunity to interact with horticulture staff and learn more about the fascinating chrysanthemum and fall themed plantings.
