Parker from the Humane Society of West Michigan wasn't able to come into the studio this morning due, of course, to the Coronavirus, but talked on the phone with me about Brownlee for Wet Nose Wednesday.

Brownlee is a quiet guy that seems to enjoy the simple things in life. He can be a little shy at first but give him time to come out of his shell and he’ll let his true personality shine! Who can resist that adorable fedora and bow tie?

Parker also talked about:

Adopt a Working Cat!

Are you in need of a working cat to manage pest control in your garage, greenhouse or barn? Let Humane Society of West Michigan help solve your rodent problem - with cats who will work for kibble! Typically these cats aren't socialized to people, but they make GREAT mousers! Our Working Cat program gives these special kitties a second chance at life that they may not otherwise have.

Working cats are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, tested for Felv, microchipped, and ear-tipped. Your first 2 working cats are fee-waived.

For more information or to adopt a working cat (or two!), please visit http://www.hswestmi.org/working-cat-program.html

Tito's, Tots, & Tails (8/27, 5-10pm)

Join us for the third annual Tito's, Tots, & Tails at Blue Dog Tavern!

Blue Dog Tavern in collaboration with Tito's Handmade Vodka are coming together once again to support the animals of Humane Society of West Michigan! We'll also be bringing our adoption trailer (weather permitting)!

A portion of the evening's proceeds will be donated to Humane Society of West Michigan, a 100% donor-funded 501(c)3 nonprofit animal shelter. There's never been a better excuse to enjoy some tots and Tito's! We can't wait to see you there!
