I especially enjoy living in Grand Rapids during ArtPrize.  It took me almost my entire lifetime to figure out that that is what I am.  An artist.  An artist's life is not an easy one.  They don't call the artist "a starving artist" for no reason.  What would society look and feel like without the artists of the world.  It would be pretty bland, and dark and hopeless.  To see art of all kinds decorating the streets and buildings of this beautiful city of ours, it really is breathtaking but; more than that, I feel at home.  It makes me smile!  You too right!
