Academy Awards Scoreboard

The 83rd Annual Academy Awards will be presented this weekend. The British drama “The King’s Speech” leads all nominees this year with 12 nominations. The Coen brothers’ remake of the classic Western “True Grit” is vying for ten Oscar nominations, while Christopher Nolan’s sci-fi thriller “Inception” and the Facebook-origins movie “The Social Network” are up for eight nods each. The Oscars will be presented during a star-studded ceremony in Hollywood this Sunday, February 27th. ABC will televise the awards live at 8:00 pm Eastern.
