I get this!  I understand it.  I had the chance to talk to a lot of teens when I did some radio in Detroit.  The stuff that was going on back then was unthinkable.  The ability to do more damage now with the massive impact of the internet; well, I can't imagine.

So what's the answer?  Is it discipline?  Is it the teachers fault for not doing anything or enough about it?  Is it the parents fault?  Is it the bullies fault?  Is it the child's fault for not having/learning the skills to cope?  Or we could look at it as an educational problem.  If the masses can learn more about it, and through education become more sensitive to it, at some point peer pressure and the bullies in the minority, will feel the disapproval and stop.  That's the dream...

In the meantime this is the nightmare.  A ten year olf girl has committed suicide, when "alledgedly" known incidences of bullying were occuring in her school.
