Last week I was out at Potter's Orchard in Hudsonville.  Got a great deal on fresh Michigan Blueberries.  I bought 30 pounds and froze them all in one pound freezer bags.  Nothing like enjoying sweet, Michigan berries in December or January.  Plus when you buy them in bulk they only cost $1.50 a pound.  Well, all of that goes hand in hand with the The Eat Local Challenge. It's back and is being presented by Local First, this August - October series of events highlights the importance of a sustainable West Michigan food system, featuring tours, workshops, tastings, presentations, and more!  Here's where the fun begins!
