The Haunt

According to MichiganHauntedHouses.com, this place is classified as "scary" and is for people 12 years and older.
Doors open October 9th and tickets go on sale the same day. They can be purchased here.

Moonlight Manor

$5Although this is for ages 10+, this attraction is considered 'Very Scary.'
The theme this year is: Biological Warfare has laid waste to the Earth in 2015. Bio-Chemical Apocalypse is NOW.
"Paranoia, terror, and fear will all visit you on your trip through the Moonlight Manor haunted house. Your only hope is to keep moving, moving forward trying to survive."
The website music alone is scary enough.

If you're looking for something scary this could be worth the drive.
Psycho Wards & Nightmares has 3 different attractions for you to choose from:

New Salem Corn Maze

This is great if you're looking for something for everyone. Daytime activities are perfect for the kids and include hay rides, farm animals, pumpkin patches and of course doughnuts and cider! Also, new this year, is a kids paintball shooting gallery.
If you want something more scary the Haunted Woods and Haunted Corn Maze should take care of that.
& what's Halloween without zombies? The Zombie Attack is an interactive zombie hunt with paintball guns.

A haunted house with a twist - Or is that a twisted side?
This year marks the 15th anniversary of Phobia House so they've rebuilt every room and hall. They promise to make it the longest and best one yet.
Just think of anything that frightens you and you'll probably find it here. Clowns. Spiders. Enclosed Spaces. Nope. This is one I will not even bother with.

Crane Orchards Corn Maze

Not ScaryAlthough this isn't necessarily a haunted house, a 20-acre corn maze makes it worth a visit. Every year Crane Orchards features a new maze for you to take on. Here is this year's maze.
Also featured is a cow train for the kids and hay rides for the whole family. The hay ride takes you on a tour of the farm and orchard.
