Admit it, you've always wanted to be on stage, maybe singing and dancing, but you have never taken the leap. Times a wastin, and hour chance is coming this weekend.

Master Arts Theatre and the Van Singel Fine Arts Center are teaming  up to co-produce Roald Dahl’s musical comedy, Willy Wonka for the coming 2017-2018 season. There will be four performances, underwritten by The Van Singel Family Foundation, all at the Van Singel Fine Arts Center November 30th through December 2nd.

Your chance to be in the show is this weekend, and coming Monday, because auditions are this Saturday, June 24, 10 am to 1:00 pm and on Monday, June 26, 6:30 to 8:30 pm. The auditions will be held at the Van Singel Fine Arts Center. A tentative rehearsal schedule and audition information are available at vsfac.com

Tickets prices for Willy Wonka are $22 for reserved seating in sections II and III on the main floor. Reserved seating in all other sections of the theatre are $19 for adults $17 for students and senior citizens, and $8.50 for children 10 and under. Performances are Thursday and Friday, November 30 and December 1 at 7:30 pm; Saturday, December 2 at 2:00 pm and 7:30 pm.

The Van Singel Fine Arts Center box office is open weekdays 12 to 5 pm and is located at 84th Street & Burlingame SW (8500 Burlingame SW) in Byron Center, 1.5 miles west of US-131, at Byron Center High School.
