Women Supporting Women for DeGage This Thursday

It's a party...a celebration...a rally, this Thursday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. It's at the LaGrave Church parking lot, 107 LaGrave Avenue SE, Grand Rapids, and it will be fun, FREE, with art, food, performances and more. But, why?

TV8 reports that Women supporting women, is the effort behind the event to help women who are a part of DeGage’s Open Door.

You probably didn't know that DeGage serves 500 people every day. 52% are women and they are full almost every single day in the Open Door Women’s Center. The need is huge and they need to expand the building, but first they have to rally up the troops, women to join them in supporting, caring for, and empowering the women they serve.

Thursday would be a great time for you to show you're supporting, caring for, and empowering women that come to DeGage for help and support.

Once again, it's this Thursday, August 22 at LaGrave Church, 107 LaGrave Avenue SE from 5 to 7 p.m.
