Muskegon's Annual Snowfest is returning to Downtown Muskegon this Saturday, February 19th.

The JCI Greater Muskegon (Junior Chamber International) is back putting on the 36th annual Snowfest. This is the return of Snowfest since Snowfest 2021 was unfortunately canceled. All activities will be held near Mercy Health Arena in Downtown Muskegon.

The lakeshore winter festival will be a fun-filled Saturday with events such as the “Battle of the Bowls Chili Cook-Off”, The Soccer Rebellions “Rise Up City Cup” adult soccer tournament, and a cornhole tournament!

Battle of the Bowls Soup and Chili Cook-Off
The Battle of the Bowls Soup and Chili Cook-off will be from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday on the Concourse of the Mercy Health Arena in Downtown Muskegon. Area restaurants are going to be going head to head to see who has the lakeshore's best soup and/or chili. All samples will be given out in 4oz samples. Event-goers can get presale tickets for the Battle of the Bowls are $10 for 10 tastings. Tickets at the door are going to be $15 for 10 tastings. Cornhole Tournament
Get ready for cold Cornhole! The Cornhole Tournament will be outside on Western Avenue between 4th and 5th streets. Registration will begin at 9:00 am on Saturday at Legends Bar & Grille. The tournament will get kicked off at 10:00 am. Trophies and cash prizes will be given to the teams that place 1st and 2nd. Snowfest organizers are requesting pre-event team registration. It will cost to play is $40 per cornhole team of 2.

Rise Up City Cup
The Soccer Rebellion is teaming up with the city of Muskegon and National Premier Soccer League's Muskegon Risers to put on the Rise Up City Cup! The Rise Up City Cup will be a high-energy street soccer five-on-five tournament with street rules. Winners will be announced and celebrated at Halftime during the Muskegon Risers game that night.

Other Snowfest Activities
Both Legends Bar & Grille and RAD DADS' Tacos and Tequila Bar will be opening early for Snowfest. Legends Bar & Grille is helping support the Local Dancing with the Stars group Raising a Little Cane as they raise money for local food pantries. Then the Snowfest after-party will be held at Burl and Sprig Cocktail Bar.
