Don't worry about having too many leftovers this year. Just turn them into a Thankscaking.  Huffington Post Taste Editor Julie Thomson, came up with the idea, and I think it's brilliant!

Basically, you build a layer cake out of all your favorite Thanksgiving leftover sides and all those amazing flavors melt together to make the perfect after Thanksgiving treat – kind of like the Gobbler sandwich in cake form.

Here's how to build the perfect Thankscaking: A layer of cornbread topped with cranberry sauce and then a layer of stuffing topped with gravy. Then there's a layer of creamed spinach and then a final top layer of cornbread. Then the whole cake is iced in mashed sweet potatoes and decorated with mashed potato piping.
