What Do You Miss Most When The Power Goes Out?

Summer storms have created power outages across West Michigan multiple times this summer.  Automobile and other accidents are among the other reasons for occasional power outages.

Long-lasting outages or outages that occur during extreme hot or cold weather can be serious, but shorter outages are usually nothing more than a nuisance.

What do you miss most when you have a short power outage?

I've experienced a couple of short power outages over the last few weeks.  Both were during the day so light wasn't an issue, but air conditioning sure was.  I remember hearing cheers when the power came back on.

Not only did it mean that we could stay cool, it meant that we would be able to watch the Olympics at night!
