Don't ask me why, but just watching penguins waddle around make me laugh. Imagine the fun when some penguins visit the set of the TV show "Friends"! To promote The FRIENDS™ Experience in Chicago, four penguins from the Shedd Aquarium went on a road trip to visit the re-creation of the "Friends" set.

The exhibit gives fans of the television show a chance to "Immerse yourself in the world of FRIENDS™ like never before with interactive set recreations, original props and costumes, photo ops, a retail store and Central Perk."

The FRIENDS™ Experience will re-open in Chicago on March 17th, 2021 and is scheduled to run until May 31st, 2021. There are 12 rooms of set re-creations, original props and costumes, photo ops, a retail store and a Central Perk set. You can even sit on the iconic orange couch. The website says: "You can also pose in front of the famous fountain from the opening credits, poke Ugly Naked Guy on Monica’s balcony, explore Joey and Chandler’s, and so much more."

The exhibit has partnered with My Block, My Hood, My City, an organization that provides underprivileged youth in Chicago with opportunities beyond their neighborhood.

In other "Friends" news, it looks like the reunion show is finally going to happen. HBO Max will finally tape the "Friends" reunion in mid-April. All six cast members will reunite for the streaming special, which had been originally been planned to help launch HBO Max one year ago. Due to COVID-19, the plans for the show had been postponed until is could be taped safely.
