Actor Val Kilmer was reportedly hospitalized earlier this week after he started bleeding from his throat. A report from TMZ goes on to say that he may have a throat tumor, which is what possibly caused the bleeding in the first place.

The report goes on to say that sources based in law enforcement told TMZ paramedics were called to Val's home in Malibu this past Monday (Jan. 26) when someone called 911 to report his bleeding throat.

The actor was then taken to the UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica, where doctors oversaw and performed surgery on him. At the moment he is said to be recovering from surgery. Apparently, Val has been aware of the problem with his throat for a while and did not seek out medical coverage, which upset many of his family members.

We wish him the best and hope Val is able to make a speedy recovery and can maintain his health.
