US 31 Closed After Truck Gets Stuck Under Bridge in Holland
Northbound and Southbound US 31 is closed in Holland at Washington Avenue.
A semi truck got stuck under the bridge this afternoon and caused extensive damage.
The accident just happened. Here's what we know so far.
WZZM reports:
The truck became lodged around 2:45 p.m. Monday.
Police say the scrap metal hauling truck had its hydraulic rails raised when it smashed into the overpass, causing extensive damage.
Because of possible structural damage, police say U.S. 31 will be closed for hours, and possibly days.
