It's been since 1980, that the Make-A-Wish Foundation has been helping children with life-threatening medical conditions. They began by granting one boy’s wish to be a police officer, and have evolved into an organization that grants a child’s wish in the U.S. every 40 minutes.

This morning on "Mornings With Andy," Bob Ibach, former Chicago Cubs Public Relations Director and sports promoter, and friend, was on the show.

Bob is helping the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan raise money to fund 15 Wishes, all here in Michigan, with the help of Prince Fielder and Miguel Cabrera of the Detroit Tigers.

Rawlings, the official baseball for MLB, is producing a limited edition baseball for us Tiger fans.  Only 5,000 have been produced, coming with an acrylic display case, featuring a color photo of Fielder and Cabrera, along with a history franchise section.  They're only $39.95 and come with a numbered certificate of authenticity.  And, the good news is a large portion of the proceeds will go to Make-A-Wish here in Michigan, to make 15 Wishes come true!
