Here at The River we're always looking for ways to keep your family safe, so when we learn of recalls, we always pass them along.

This time, it's a tire recall.  Over 36,000 tires made by Multistrada Arah Sarana are being recalled because of sidewall defects.

They are 16-inch tires sold as "Desert Hawk" and "Radar Radial" tires.  The information says blisters can develop on the side of the Desert Hawk tires and there is a risk of tread separation with the Radar tires.

The NHTSA says both tires could lose air suddenly.

The tires will be replaced at no charge starting this month.  Go back to the place where you purchased the tires or just call (800) 944-8414 to reach the tire company.
