Is it rude to bid $1 over the person next to you on Contestants' Row or just good strategy?

How hard is it to spin the Big Wheel?

Exactly how much does a can of Chunky Soup cost?

Find the answers to these questions and more when The Price Is Right comes to East Lansing.

The Price Is Right will be at Wharton Center's Cobb Great Hall on Saturday, October 13 at 8:00pm.  The show will not run on TV, but there will be prizes as always.

Mlive.com has the details:

Registration to be a contestant will take place three hours prior to show time in the Wharton Center lobby; ticket purchase is not required for registration. Audience members are eligible to win prizes just for attending.

Contestants pulled from the audience compete for a chance to win appliances, vacations, and new cars by playing classic games like Plinko and Cliffhangers.

Todd Newton, who recently won a Daytime Emmy award for Outstanding Game Show Host for a show on the HUB network, will be hosting.

Tickets are $25.00 and $35.00, and go on sale online Aug. 31 at 10 a.m. at www.whartoncenter.com, at the Auto-Owners Ticket Office at Wharton Center or by calling 1-800-WHARTON.

It's no "live" show, but that's OK, Drew Carey is no Bob Barker.

Good luck!
